Matthew is a senior at Deerfield Academy, a New England preparatory High School. His academic focus is on the interdisciplinary interactions between international relations, economics, literature, and history. A student in Honors Economics, Honors European History, and Honors Literature, Matthew is well-read, and applies his knowledge to analyzing contemporary events and issues on his blog, Free Exchange.
He currently chairs a group of like-minded individuals who manage a small portion of the Academy's endowment, and captains the school's Debate Team.
