Forrest received both his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering while attending the University of Colorado with Bryce, the founder of prospectivevalue.com.  He was given limited control over his college fund at age 12 and complete control by the time he was a sophomore in high school.  After investing his way through college he graduated with a higher net worth than when he started.  Forrest is an unabashed promoter and believer in free market capitalism as the best path to the most prosperity for the most people and welcomes any and all debate on the subject.

He has mostly invested in small cap stocks and deep value plays, although recently has used the ultra EFT's that have become so popular.  Forrest has a full time day job as a structural engineer and has no formal training in financial markets, but he spends much of his free time thinking about it and researching the next great investment.  The most important investing lesson he has ever learned was from his grandpa, who stated, " you have not made any money until you have sold.
